JOB PURPOSE: Provides Residential Coordination for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities served through Host Home/Companion Care, Residential Support Services, Supervised Living and Supported Home Living, Respite and Community Supports. Directs training and supervision of residential staff and contractors, participates in the hiring process and the development of new employees. Monitors the needs of and the provision of services to the individuals who reside/participate in each location/ service area. Operates within the guidelines of the Performance Contract, HCS, and TxHmL Principles.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED. Two years of experience in working with individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. One-year supervisory experience preferred.

I. Essential Tasks & Standards
1. Coordinates the provision of all Residential services as authorized by the Individual Plan of Care and in accordance with the Implementation Plan for each residential component (RSS, SL, HH/ CC, SHL, TR< CFPH CS RE)
2. Directs the supervision of residential locations of individuals in the IDD Residential Programs (General Revenue, HCS, TxHmL)
3. Contributes to the IDD Units accurate and timely submission of encounter data
4. Ensures compliance of the Person Directed Planning requirements.
5. Ensures the timeliness and accuracy Waiver Program Billing
6. Cooperates in the coordination of waiver and nonwaiver services.
7. Participates in the budget planning, monitoring, and preparation.
8. Ensures efficient scheduling and utilization of staff and resources through periodic monitoring
9. Oversees contracted services including the timely review and submission of invoices
10. Ensures the availability of trained and qualified employees that is specific to each individual's needs

1. Onboarding of employees to include submission of the position requisition, conducting interviews and completing the hiring process following Human Resource guidelines.
2. Conducts performance evaluations of assigned staff. Performance evaluations are on time and give employees fair and meaningful feedback.
3. Schedules assigned staff to participate in mandatory training in order to ensure staff competence and development. Staff required trainings are up to date and staff are given opportunities for professional development.
4. Monitors performance of department and assigned staff using established reporting processes and provides feedback and coaching to ensure staff meet all contract, productivity and other performance targets.
5. Manages schedules attendance and punctuality of assigned staff. Staff time is reported on time and accurately and staff are able to make use of earned leave.
6. Supervisor is accessible to assigned staff, and they are kept well informed of departmental and center happenings.
7. Supervisor applies the performance improvement (disciplinary) process consistently and in accordance with center policy. Utilizes a "plus one" approach to minimize risk.
