JOB PURPOSE: To conduct
group and individual counseling sessions for chemically dependent adult and
adolescent consumers and complete the required documentation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's
degree from an accredited college or university in the behavioral sciences with
an emphasis in chemical dependency. One
year of experience in the chemical dependency field may be substituted for the
degree requirement if the individual is a licensed chemical dependency
counselor (LCDC) or Counselor Intern with 2000 hours as an intern.
DEGREE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED (IF
APPLICABLE): Must be currently licensed in the State of
Texas as a Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or LCDC-Intern.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
