JOB PURPOSE: Provides Residential Coordination for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities served through Host Home/Companion Care, Residential Support Services, Supervised Living and Supported Home Living, Respite and Community Supports. Directs training and supervision of residential staff and contractors, participates in the hiring process and the development of new employees. Monitors the needs of and the provision of services to the individuals who reside/participate in each location/ service area. Operates within the guidelines of the Performance Contract , HCS, and TxHmL Principles.

JOB PURPOSE: Provides administrative and technical support to the Team Leader and their associated staff and volunteers, as needed. Coordinates the gathering and dissemination of information regarding strategic planning, key performance measures, policy and contract compliance, and other reporting as requested. JOB PURPOSE: Supervises all personnel assigned to the Court and Jail Services team (CJST) including Jail Based Competency Restoration and NGRI (Not Guilty By Reasons of Insanity) services and programs. Coordinates and integrates services between and with the courts, jails, and other community based providers for meeting mental health needs and expectations of defendants and judicial system. Provides and coordinates an interdisciplinary approach to criminal court cases involving defendants with mental illness, focusing on timely identification of mental illness, coordination to appropriate mental health services, and successful re-emergence into the community. Supervises jail contract services and ensures contract requirements are met for all jail services including jail assessments, counseling services, and provider services. Coordinates the provision of law enforcement training in conjunction with Crisis Prevention Specialist. Participates in the development of unit policies and procedures ensuring compliance with all applicable standards. Work is performed in collaboration and conjunction with other program coordinators. May include community outreach.

JOB PURPOSE: The goal for the Mental Health First Aid Outreach Coordinator is to increase awareness of MHFA training, increase the number of MHFA training sessions available, and increase the number of overall trainings completed. It is the responsibility of the Outreach Coordinator to ensure that all requirements listed in the HHSC Mental Health First Aid Contract are met. Performs MHFA training to ensure the Center is in compliance with contract obligations. Work includes the preparation of reports, coordination of trainings throughout the 4-county area, collaboration with other Centers and cultivation of positive relationships with various community stakeholders.

JOB PURPOSE: This position is responsible for providing Multi Systematic Therapy services to families; ensuring services align with MST fidelity and evidence-based measures. The therapist will provide services to a small caseload of 5-6 families. This position is a remote position working from home for the administrative duties and in the homes and community for the delivery of services.

You will empower families to address problematic behaviors and to help their youth ages 12 - 17 make life-transforming changes. Treatment progress is made through intensive interventions such as changing unhelpful family interactions, addressing the youth's problems with peers and in school, and increasing social support, to name a few.

JOB PURPOSE: Provides nursing services under the supervision and direction of a physician, advanced practice registered nurse, physician assistant, or registered nurse. Focuses on patient safety and is required to function within the parameters of the legal scope of practice and in accordance with federal, state and local regulatory agencies; in accordance with established standards of the Nurse Practice Act, accepted medical/nursing standards, policies and procedures of Spindletop Center. Will be responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and focused nursing care to assigned consumers with predictable health care needs.

Provides a variety of rehabilitation services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ensures that services are provided in accordance with the Individual's Person Directed Plan (PDP), Individual Plan of Care (IPC) and implementation plan (IP). including: assisting individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in the community; providing individuals with age-appropriate activities that enhance self-esteem and maximize functional level; complementing any professional therapies listed in the IPC; reinforcing skills or lessons taught in school, therapy, or other settings; providing training and support activities that promote the individual's integration and participation in the community; providing assistance for an individual who cannot manage personal care needs as required; and providing transportation as necessary for the individual. This position may be required to carry a caseload and to document all services performed.
