Clinic Supervisor- Salary range: $41,416-$45,253/ annually

JOB PURPOSEThe Clinic Supervisor performs a supervisory role in the designated clinic as assigned. This position assumes responsibility for the operational and ongoing support of health care delivery at a fast paced, innovative clinic working with underserved, indigent and Medicaid/Medicare populations. Must understand that duties are subject to change as determined by director/executive management to meet the needs of the center. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  Bachelor's degree in Social, Behavioral, or Human Services. Two (2) years' experience working in a health care facility or clinic, preferred. Two (2) years in leadership position with experience in staff supervision required. Work requires knowledge in a professional or technical field.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Good spelling and grammar skills.
  • Ability to write progress notes according to standards, assessments, brief mental status exams, memos, letters, various complex reports and miscellaneous other documents with acceptable spelling and grammar.
  • Computer - skilled in the use of technology with Microsoft Office and all Google applications.

  • May be required to interact with other consumers, referral sources, outside agencies, and family members to determine needs and actions to be taken.
  • Current State of Texas Driver License or if you live in another state, must be currently licensed in that state.
  • Liability insurance required if employee will operate personal vehicle on Center property or for Center business.  Must be insurable by Center's liability carrier if employee operates a Center vehicle or drives personal car on Center business.
  • Must complete all training requirements in month in which they are due.
  • May be required to provide on-call duties. 
  • Availability of a personal vehicle for business use may be required.
  • Work will take place within office setting
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must successfully pass all background screens as required by the state
  • Ability to input data into computer, make calculations, complete paperwork, produce reports.

Essential Tasks & Standards

  1. Assists in teaching and directing other clinic personnel.
  2. Assesses and directs work flow in the clinic in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  3. Supervision of the staff assigned to the clinic with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
  4. Ensures all clerical staff provide excellent customer service, logs in client and routes them to the appropriate provider. Ensures providers daily clinic schedules are maximized, printed and forwarded to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
  5. Monitors the daily flow of client appointments to ensure no client has a wait time for appointments of more than 15 minutes before seeing their first staff member.
  6. Prints and analyzes reports on a regular basis to ensure that all clinic services are documented properly and accurately.
  7. Ensures that all data entry into M&D Cares and Anasazi by other staff is completed within assigned timelines.  Counsels staff not meeting guidelines and follows up regarding improvements.
  8. Enters a variety of data in the Anasazi and other consumer record data systems accurately and within assigned timeframes
  9. Updates information as necessary in Performance Logic for clinics.
  10. Performs other duties including, but not limited to, completing Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessment/Adult Needs and Strengths Assessments, Recovery Plans, medical staff staging protocols, and Customer Service Representatives.

  1. Onboarding of employees to include submission of the position requisition, conducting interviews and completing the hiring process following Human Resource guidelines.
